Student Wellness

In accordance with the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act (HHFKA) of 2010 and Education Code section 8990 el seq., this student wellness policy sets forth goals for nutrition education, physical activity and other school-based activities designed to promote student wellness. It also establishes nutrition standards for all foods that are available on campus during the school day, with the objective of promoting student health and reducing childhood obesity.  Heber Elementary School District follows the USDA dietary guidelines.
