The HESD Fiscal Services department is responsible for business operations of the district, including budget and accounting, nutrition services, purchasing, and warehouse.
Fiscal Services is dedicated to providing for the acquisition of equipment, supplies, materials and services needed to ensure academic success throughout the District using fiscally responsible methods.
Accounts receivable
Assist sites and departments with account code structure when making expenditures
Budget services and support for all sites/departments
Budgets and State reporting for audit compliance
Central Attendance accounting and reporting
Develop and process bid packages as well as related contracts for construction and maintenance projects and acquisition of equipment and supplies.
Monitor and develop internal controls for proper District oversight
Prepare timely payments to vendors for goods/services received
Process employee reimbursements
Provide budget analysis and training
Provide staffing projection costs
Purchase equipment, supplies, materials and services for school sites and district offices at a competitive price.
Review funding for all personnel requests
