Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to a new and exciting school year at the Heber Elementary School District! As the Superintendent, it is my pleasure to extend a warm greeting to you and your children as we embark on another academic adventure together. I hope this letter finds you all in good health and spirits, ready for the adventures that lie ahead.

Exciting Developments

We are thrilled to announce several key developments for this school year. We are launching a Dual Immersion Program to provide students the opportunity to become bilingual and bicultural, opening doors to greater professional prospects and fostering a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. Additionally, we will conduct a focused review of our dress code and cellphone use policies to create a conducive learning environment, ensuring students can focus on their studies without unnecessary distractions. Furthermore, our school board has been working diligently to place a Bond Measure on the November ballot, which, if approved, will provide the necessary funds for many improvements to our district’s facilities, enhancing the learning environment for all our students. Alongside these initiatives, we are putting a specific focus on ensuring that students have trusted adults to support all their needs, guaranteeing their well-being and academic success.

Looking Ahead

In just a few weeks, we will welcome students back; I ask that you join us in making the 2024- 2025 school year the most successful yet for our students, families, and staff. Our school offices will open for registrations and other needs on August 6, 2024.
