MENSAJE IMPORTANTE SOBRE EL SERVICIO DE COMIDAS DURANTE EL APRENDIZAJE A DISTANCIA HESD - EL ÚLTIMO DÍA DE ALIMENTACIÓN COMUNITARIA FUE HOY, 20 DE AGOSTO. ESTAREMOS EN TRANSICIÓN AL PROGRAMA NACIONAL DE ALMUERZO ESCOLAR A PARTIR DEL MARTES 25 DE AGOSTO. El Distrito Escolar Primario de Heber se compromete a ofrecer el mejor servicio a nuestros estudiantes y continuará brindando servicios de alimentos durante el año escolar 2020-21. • Las comidas solo se proporcionarán a los estudiantes inscritos en el Distrito Escolar Primario de Heber. • El padre / tutor deberá proporcionar el número de identificación de estudiante de su hijo al recoger las comidas. • Los horarios de distribución de comidas cambiarán ligeramente para adaptarse a las necesidades de los padres. Los horarios de recogida son los siguientes: Martes y jueves de 6:30 a.m. a 9:30 a.m. A partir del 1 de septiembre de 2020, la cena también estará disponible para todos los estudiantes matriculados.

HESD UPDATE - REGARDING MEAL SERVICE DURING DISTANCE LEARNING THE LAST DAY OF COMMUNITY MEAL DISTRIBUTION WAS TODAY, AUGUST 20TH. WE WILL BE TRANSITIONING TO NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH PROGRAM BEGINNING, TUESDAY, AUGUST 25TH. The Heber Elementary School District is committed to offer the best service to our students and will continue to provide food services throughout the 2020-21 school year. • Meals will only be provided to students enrolled in the Heber Elementary School District. • Parent/guardian will need to provide their child’s student ID number when picking up meals. • Meals Distribution times will change slightly to accommodate parent needs. The pickup times are as follows: Tuesday & Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Starting September 1, 2020 supper will also be available to all enrolled students.

HESD Update:: The governor has announced that school districts located in counties that are on the State COVID-19 watch list will begin the year with students learning online only. Our school sites will remain closed until Imperial County is no longer on the state watch list for 14 consecutive days. We are working diligently to ensure that our distance learning program will be dynamic, meaningful and impactful. Please check back here and on our District webpage at hesdk8.org for updates.
