HESD Update: Today is a special day for our 8th Grade Students. Heber School will host a virtual ceremony at 3:00 p.m. - the link will become available at 2:45 p.m. This will be followed by a certificate presentation at 6:30 p.m. via a parade style pickup. HESD Update - Meal distribution times are changing. We will begin our summer meal program on Tuesday June 2. Meals will be served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am. Please plan accordingly. HESD UPDATE - Get help buying food while schools are closed. This program, called P-EBT, is for students who are normally able to get free or reduced price school meals. Apply and get up to $365 per child to spend on groceries. Who is eligible for P-EBT benefits? Children are eligible for P-EBT benefits if: Their school is closed due to coronavirus (COVID 19); and they are eligible for free or reduced-price school meals. Families with children who are eligible for free or reduced-price meals and who do NOT get CalFresh, Medi-Cal or Foster Care benefits must apply online before June 30, 2020. Apply Here: http://ca.p-ebt.org/ This does not affect eligibility for school site meal distribution.

Actualización de HESD: debido a las recientes pruebas COVID positivas en nuestra comunidad estamos modificando los procesos de registro . Las oficinas están cerradas para evaluar y mejorar la seguridad. Los nuevos procedimientos se publicarán el lunes 18 de mayo.

HESD Update - Due to recent positive COVID tests in our community and in our district, we are modifying registration, and district transfer processes. Offices will be closed the remainder of the week to evaluate and improve safety. New procedures will be posted Monday, May 18.

HESD Update - Our Meal Distribution remains open. The Health Department inspected our procedures, practices, and safety measures on Tues, May 12 and we received a 100% compliance rating. Our kitchen and food prep areas remain clear of concern. Safety is our priority.

Just sending out a big THANK YOU to our amazing HESD teachers. Today I witnessed a virtual field trip to the zoo. My daughter has been raving all day. Just one example of the many good things going on in our district. #WeAreHeber

On Thursday, April 30, 2020, we will celebrate the 8th Annual School Lunch Hero Day! We ask that you join us in celebrating our essential workers by being creative during meal distribution with signs on your vehicles or notes to our staff. We are extremely thankful to our team.
