Parents of English Language Learners are invited to attend. This parent committee focuses on students who are learning English as a second language.

All 8th grade students can attend. Saturday School will count towards tardies, attendance, and schoolwork credits.

• Tuesday: Wear your workout clothes

• Wednesday: Wear your favorite headgear

APOYO COLABORATIVO EN LA PLANIFICACIÓN ESCOLAR Y DEL DISTRITO

Consejo de Padres del Superintendente

El Consejo de Padres del Superintendente está compuesto por un

mínimo de dos padres de cada nivel de grado en cada una de

nuestras escuelas, así como padres de los comités del distrito. El

propósito del consejo es brindar transparencia y comunicación

bidireccional entre el Superintendente y la comunidad de padres de

cada escuela. Este consejo tratará una variedad de temas,

compartirá información y ampliará la comprensión de los problemas

relacionados con el Distrito y el Estado.

Miembros del Consejo:

• Asisten a las reuniones del consejo programadas

• Actúan como comunicadores entre la Oficina del Superintendente y

las escuelas

• Proporcionan al Superintendente información de la comunidad

• Proporcionan información precisa sobre las actividades del distrito

a la comunidad

• Actúan como miembro del grupo de enfoque para el

Superintendente con respecto a los problemas del distrito

Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council

The Superintendent’s Parent Advisory Council is composed at a

minimum of two parents from each grade level at each of our

schools as well as parents from district committees. The purpose of

the council is to provide transparency and two-way communication

between the Superintendent and the parent community of each

school. This council will discuss a variety of topics, share information,

and broaden understanding of District and State related issues.

Council Members:

• Attend scheduled council meetings

• Act as communicators between the Superintendent’s Office and

the schools

• Provide the Superintendent with information from the

community

• Provide accurate information regarding district activities to the

community

• Act as a focus group member for Superintendent regarding

district issues

Meeting will be held in portable 320, next to the Heber School cafeteria. Please join us as we review our LCAP and discuss how we can better support our students.

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Day is a fantastic opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the invaluable work that speech-language pathologists do in helping individuals with communication disorders. Whether it's aiding someone in overcoming speech impediments, or assisting with language development, SLPs play a crucial role in improving the lives of so many. So, on this special day, let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate our SLP Kayla Finnell Vogel for her dedication, compassion, and expertise. Thank you for all that you do!
